Model 35MD is a trailer designed to transport tracked machines up to 2775 kg. It is fabricated with a one piece heavy duty, hot dipped galvanised steel chassis with integral welded steel mudguards.It is supplied with solid steel sides to enable heavy machines to be secured to the hooks welded to the chassis and without a spare wheel as standard to keep the unladen weight to a minimum, allowing the heaviest possible machines to be carried within the maximum legal weight of 3500 kg. For wheeled machines we would recommend the TP range.

Model 35MD is fitted with a heavy duty full width gas assisted ramp door suitable for all types of machines including rollers, the ramp approach angle is 18 degrees. Standard equipment comprises an extended draw bar with a raised bucket carrier and hooks, a ribbed jockey wheel, ramp mounted legs, stand on mudguards, full width floor,road lights and a lockable 50 mm ball coupling. A pin type hitch is available as a free option. with the option of increased body length to 3600 mm. the unladen weight increases to 770 kg. reducing the payload to 2730 kg.

The trailer can be manufactured with an open centre floor and separate hinged ramps, reducing the un laden weight to 665 kg. allowing a maximum payload of 2835 kg.

Many special trailers have been manufactured based on the 35MD to transport all types of equipment. The lower photograph on the left shows a lighter version for transporting a 2.8 ton tracked stone crusher. A hydraulic tilt can be fitted to enable scissor type access platforms or sweeping machines with minimum ground clearance to be loaded. We would be pleased to quote for your requirements if the combination of trailer and load weigh less than 3500 kg. Trailers in excess of this weight have to have power braking, be added to your operators licence and have an annual HGV test.
