Here at G M Stephenson Limited, We have been exporting agricultural machinery all around the world since 1987.
When exporting tractors, combines and all other types of agricultural machinery worldwide, it is important to have the knowledge of how to prepare such machines for loading and transport. We also have our own in-house cleaning team, who are able to prepare machines to DEFRA Phytosanitary certification standard.
We will need a few pieces of information from you before we can start this process.
- An email copy of your purchase inquiry/order to office@gmstephenson.co.uk
- A valid VAT number (Including the first 2 letters) Associated to your company and at the registered address.
All numbers will be checked. - A valid EORI number, Associated to your company and at the registered address.
- Valid contact details - address, telephone number, email address.
- On collection, your transport company must…
Provide us with a CMR upon collection. A signed and stamped copy of the CMR by you must also be sent to us when the machinery is delivered to you.
This must have the ‘goods received’ box stamped and signed! - A copy of your shipping invoice.
This is proof the exported goods have left the UK and reached their intended destination.
If you are dealing with us for the first time, you will be asked to pay the full amount including the vat. The vat amount will then be refunded when a fully stamped/signed CMR is emailed to us.
All documents must be sent to us within one month of the UK collection date!
