1264 GENERAL PURPOSE TRAILER

Model 1264 is the largest in this range and one of the most popular. For its size it is very lightweight and extremely durable. Many are used by local authorities by grass gutting teams, either for a large tripple or many pedestrian opperated machines. With a gross weight of 2600kg and an overall width of 7' 6" this trailer is legal for use with most vans and 4x4 vehicles. The gross plated weight can be reduced if required to be compatable lower vehicle train weights if lighter loads are to be transported.

Model 1264 has a hot dipped galvanised steel chassis with 2mm thick pre-galvanised steel sides 300mm deep and an 18mm phenol coated non-slip plywood floor. The independent rubber suspension axles have auto reversing brakes, operated by cast steel hydraulic damped over run coupling with a power assisted hand brake and integral jockey wheel. Full road lights are fitted and the specially designed damage resistant mudguards are fitted with aluminium tread plate stand on ' tops. The rear crossmembers on all this range have lugs to accept interchangeable number plates
