Model 2643 is a 2600 kg standard platform trailer suitable for use with cars and light vehicles. Its 2600 kg plating allows for extra capacity over the 2000 kg models whilst remaining within the maximum permitted gross train weights of certain goods vehicles. It is supplied as a flat platform with full road lights, front jockey wheel and auto reversing overrun brakes.

Model 2643 is available with a hydraulic tilting body and a ramp rear door to load equipment with a low ground clearance.

All trailers in the platform trailer range are fully galvanised, and have Avonride fully independent rubber suspension axles and a hydraulically damped hitch with a lockable cast coupling and power assisted hand brake.

Standard equipment includes a phenol coated plywood floor, flush fitting side rails with post sockets and under body tying rails with strap points, a front telescopic jockey wheel and full road lights.

Hinged sides, ramps and mesh extension sides are all available as options.
